Chief Executive Officer
Sri is the Chief Executive Officer and Board member of Bright Funds and Bright Funds Foundation. He is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution. Prior to joining Bright Funds, Sri spent over fifteen years in engineering and management roles at Financial Engines, where he had led the platforms and services as the Vice President, Software Development. In that role he oversaw the marketing, CRM and investment management platforms, managing over $120 billion in assets and over $1 trillion in assets under contract. Sri holds a BS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Andhra University, a Masters degree in Control Systems from IIT Chennai, and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School of Business. He is married with two children. He is an enthusiastic hiker and loves to travel all around the world.
Vice President and General Manager
Rachel partners with program leaders to deliver community impact through Bright Funds. Rachel worked with several US-based and international nonprofits before joining Bright Funds and currently serves as an executive committee member on the San Francisco chapter of the Armenian International Women’s Association. She played Division I softball at Georgetown University and graduated with a B.S. in Foreign Service with a major in Culture and Politics.
Vice President, Nonprofit Services
Thara leads Nonprofit Operations at Bright Funds. She draws on a diverse range of experiences both in financial services and nonprofits including FutureAdvisor and Global Fund for Women. She leverages her experience in building efficient and scalable processes as well as her enthusiasm to develop meaningful relationships across diverse stakeholders to bring to life Bright Funds’ vision for a better world. She holds a BA in Political Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University.
Head of Partnership Strategy
David leads the Bright Funds partnership strategy in working with partners to increase access to workplace giving through the Bright Funds platform. David has extensive product and executive experience having founded Clever Finance and working at BlackRock, Financial Engines and Intuit. At his core, David is a programmer but has spent most of his career in Product roles. David holds his Bachelors and Masters in software engineering from Northern Illinois University. David lives in San Jose, is the proud father of two daughters and is a fitness fanatic having run ultra marathons and obstacle course races.
